![]() I don't have time to investigate why mapping the network folder location doesn't allow certain files to be shown while the share folder does, but that seems to be the case here so hopefully this can help others where everything else above didn't work. As soon as I re-mapped the drive with the name matching the network path all of the files showed up perfectly. I previously rammed my head into it and re-mapped the drives manually until they worked, but now I know why: I was mapping it to the folder's name (Proper Case) and not the network path (lower case) (IE: \\server\FolderName had missing files, \\server\foldername shows everything). ![]() I was unable to see certain (usually larger) files inside of a server share after mapping the shared folder to new computers in the office. Since this seems to be a popular search result, so I'll add my findings here after running into the same problem on multiple occasions for almost a year and never realizing why it worked sometimes and other times it didn't.
